Onderzoeksproject Mali

Hearing of the invention, the Netherlands Ministry of Defence made an opportunity to test the system in its base camp for the UN’s peace operation in Mali in April 2017. Three types of brackish groundwater and highly polluted river water were tested. This proved to be successful, illustrated by the fact that the health managers of the MINUSA base camp tested and approved the treated water as safe to be used for drinking. Dutch TV news as well as national newspapers repeatedly reported about this promising new technique.
